The third International String Orchestra Festival, taking place in Malta from 13th to 17th April 2009, will be packed with musical activities ranging from solo recitals to outstanding orchestral concerts. The repertoire includes familiar works from Haydn, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Shostakovich and, Stravinsky to contemporary compositions by Dutch and Maltese composers.
